Boiler type PureFire PF-1000

Error code E04

Cause:

DHW sensor not connected.

- DHW sensor circuit is open.

Solution:

- Be sure sensor is plugged in.
- Check continuity in both harness leads.
- Temporarily connect the harness to another sensor to determine if the error is cleared. If so, this indicates a defective sensor.
- Read the sensor temperature values in the “User Menu” under “Status”. 14°F indicates an open circuit.

Note: The component with the red connector is the high limit switch not a sensor.
